The Strasbourg Univers Hotel boasts a central location near the railway station, but is nestled in a peaceful cul de sac. The building in which it is housed was originally built around 1900 by a French entrepreneur nostalgic for his hometown of Strasbourg. Though completely renovated, it has retained its traditional façade. The lobby is medium sized, with marble décor and colourful rugs evoking a Middle Eastern ambience. Varying in size due to the age of the building, the 51 guestrooms have been refurbished to a very high standard, with modern décor in predominantly warm tones. The small tiled bathrooms are well maintained. The restaurant is modern with traditional touches, providing a high standard of International cuisine.
