Recently refurbished, the 7-storey Madarin Oriental Du Rhone Hotel is an historic art deco masterpiece. Its interior is a luxurious symphony of silk, Italian marble, parquet and leather. The lobby features large reception and concierge desks and comfortable seating areas.
In each of the spacious guest rooms you’ll find décor in the warmest shades of plum, peach and chocolate, complemented by pear wood furniture and large windows. All are immaculately maintained, as are the Greek marble en suite bathrooms which have separate showers and baths, luxury towels, bathrobes and complimentary designer toiletries.
There are two new restaurants in the hotel, Rasoi specialising in fine Indian dining and Le Sud brasserie, under the control of Paul Bocuse, serving a contemporary French menu. Le Sud also has a wonderful terrace for al fresco dining. Bar Mo, a stylish multilevel club offers not only a weide range of drinks and cocktails but also a light menu with the hotel's own take on Tapas and Bento Boxes.
The hotel has a gym, sauna and hammam as well as its own art gallery on the first floor.
